Hi. I have written a book wherein I reveal secrets (mine, those of others) and also make admonishments regarding the human race. It is called Self-Helpless: A Misfit’s Guide to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

In an effort to encourage you to purchase and read (virtually) said Guide, I will be slinging representative segments of it out at you in this space.
First up: some sutras! Each sutra consists of 13 13-word sentences. I have mad counting skillz. Here they are, on display.
Each sutra is followed with a suss. A suss is like a gloss, wherein I explain myself. And the world. To you.
[PS: Up above is a YouTube-clip-thing I did. As accompaniment. Because of the Internet. Which is a "thing" that makes things simultaneously more and less real all at once. Also it is a lingua franca. Therefore. Forgive me Father for I have sinned. Amen. Etc.]

Okay. I must first address directly the nagging question that even my own still-small voice has posed from time to time: who am I to use this insignificant lived life of mine to try to express something universal, especially when the very idea of universality seems to have given way to an endless warren of self-absorbed networks and niches?
